Honestly, imagine paradise β it's right here. We stayed in the beach bungalow for 10 days and were simply blissful. The bungalow is tastefully decorated, and the surroundings are absolutely stunning. James is a wonderful, friendly, and incredibly attentive host who, along with his team, gave us a warm welcome and was always available for any questions or needs. Orlando and Delphina took such good care of us, and we want to thank them again for the delicious food, the tasty drinks, and especially for their warmth and hospitality! A little tip: the boat trip with Bumba (including Cayos Zapatilla and a snorkeling excursion) is a must β we'll never forget it! The Calypso tour to Salt Creek and the Red Frog Path is also highly recommended...

A really beautiful property with good facilities. A great place to kick back and relax or take day trips (by boat). The property has an outdoor kitchen (come prepared there are no shops nearby). There is also an on-site catering facility which provides excellent food. All in all an amazing place!

The villa is located on a sublime island where nature reigns supreme. We recharge our batteries and live in the moment in this truly heavenly setting. Thank you, James, for the service provided, and to all the staff who made my experience as pleasant as possible. PS: Greetings to Calipso and Hillaro.

A real paradise. you are not left to your own devices, there is an employee ready who is always there for you. the service was exemplary. quick response and private tours at very affordable prices. for example, a half day fishing for $75. and, yes we caught fish! There are restaurants 15 minutes away and they take you home by boat. it is really beautiful like the photos. thank you to the hosts for the excellent service!

My wife and I were celebrating our 36th anniversary. This Airbnb absolutely checked all of our boxes for what we were looking for. My wife is very sociable and met a lot of locals and indigenous people. We enjoyed hiking to the local indigenous village where we saw a couple sloths and met some friendly indigenous people. We especially enjoyed the beach front casita and very private beach. We kayaked and enjoyed the beautiful corral reefs and beautiful fishes. Lucy and James were very accommodating and always available to answer questions and provided many recommendations. We absolutely loved La Vida and hope to return in the future. Best of Airbnb

The place was fantastically beautiful to relax, really beautiful. Located directly on the beach with its own beach with warm water. Equipment was plentiful on site. The pan is a little outdated, our scrambled eggs quickly burned. We were missing a mirror and the staff walk past the house every day, but they are all friendly. If we had any questions, James was always immediately available, repaired our door lock immediately, prepared paddles for us and provided us with a lot of good information for the onward journey and also activities! You should know that it is an open accommodation and you quickly have insects and beetles in the room at night, which did not bother us, but you also have a net around the bed. A dimmable light or a night light in the room would also be good. The view, you have to say, is really amazing.
Definitely recommend!! -

What an amazing and peaceful place! The bungalow opens right onto the sea, and we loved sitting in silence, watching the waves, passing boats, and beautiful birds. Just a few meters away is a sandy beach with warm water and starfish to admire. The house provides snorkeling gear and canoes.
My husband and I especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, living and dining areas under the incredible thatched roof. James and Lucy were wonderful hostsβsuper helpful with organizing our boat transfers and checking in about groceries when boats went to the main island. They also connected us with Calypso, a guide for the Salt Creek Community visit (highly recommended) and a talented chef who prepared a delicious Caribbean meal for us. We were there during low season, but a restaurant was open a 10 minute walk away. Everyone we met on the island was delightful. If you love remote, authentic places, this is a true paradise.
Going back to the busy world was hard. We could have stayed forever :) Thx!!! -

Great place detached from reality, the host provided what we needed, we needed to buy, near starfish in the water, near a trip to Zapatila Island Paradise

We really liked the accommodation, you have peace and quiet and can relax. There is a beautiful beach right next to the accommodation and you can enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches on the islands without having to walk. The host is very friendly and takes care of any request. However, the WiFi was constantly down, so I recommend having a good internet flat rate so you can contact Lucy. She always took care of things quickly. We were very satisfied!

What a lovely escape. Its was what we both needed. The area was quiet and had a small kitchen to cook. Its right on the water the waves put you to sleep. If you really feel like an adventure take the kayaks to Zapatilos islands only 5 K away! if you are a good paddle it takes on hour. I will come back on my next visit.

Peace and beauty in a completely private setting. The setting is spectacular. Although it is not, it gives the feeling of being isolated in the middle of a beach for yourself. The cabin is very nice and comfortable, located to enjoy the sea and the beach in a private way. It is very well designed, keeping details that are appreciated.

Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines.

We had the absolute best time staying at this beach cabana. The bed was super cozy, the outdoor kitchen was awesome (make sure to bring all the food/beverages you need), the beach has the most beautiful clear water and loads of star fish and other fish and we were the ONLY people there and had the entire beach to ourselves, the locals were kind when passing and the host was extremely friendly and accommodating and had quick response to questions.

A place to really disconnect. There are many activities to do with the native people of the island. A unique experience and place. The hospitality of the local people is invaluable.

A great place to stay with an extremely good location. The host helps you with all problems and picks you up by paid boat. We brought food for 4 days, but you can also find restaurants for breakfast and dinner nearby. We can also highly recommend a hike to locals.

A little piece of paradise. The views and surroundings are unequalled. The sounds of the sea and birds wrap you up from the moment you arrive until you leave. It's like being in paradise. The house is built completely out of wood and with an impressive palm roof. It has a very special charm. The shower is amazing, a whole experience, and hot water comes in, which is not always the case on the islands.
